Moto-Chok Extenders

Does not include Moto-Chok. Moto-Choks sold separately.

Need to push your Moto-Chok out past a rolled-up tonneau cover, clear wide handlebars, or just create a little extra room in your truck bed? Our Moto-Chok Extenders are built for the job and are available in 3″, 5″, 7″, 9″, and 12″ lengths (custom sizes available on request).

Unlike the Z-TRAK Extender, which uses an E-Track plate to clip in and out separately, Moto-Chok Extenders bolt directly to the Moto-Chok. This creates a solid, one-piece assembly with less rattle and movement, while still allowing the extender + Moto-Chok to clip in and out of your Z-TRAK or High Strength E-TRAK rail together as an assembly.

How Sizing & Depth Measurements Work

To help you choose the correct extender length, here’s how measurements are calculated:

  • Z-TRAK and High Strength E-TRAK rails add approximately 1/2″ of depth from the original mounting surface.

  • When an accessory is clipped into the rail, the distance from the original mounting surface to the back face of the clipped-in accessory is always ~1 1/4″, regardless of extender length.

  • Extender length is measured only by the extension bar itself.

  • The listed extender length does not include the depth of the Z-TRAK / E-TRAK rail or the clip plate.

✅ This means the total depth at the face where the Moto-Chok mounts will always be ~1 1/4″ longer than the listed extender size.

Total Extension Depth Reference (Approx.)

Measured from the original mounting surface to the Moto-Chok mounting face:

  • 3″ Extender → ~4 1/4″ total depth

  • 5″ Extender → ~6 1/4″ total depth

  • 7″ Extender → ~8 1/4″ total depth

  • 9″ Extender → ~10 1/4″ total depth

  • 12″ Extender → ~13 1/4″ total depth

Why Choose Moto-Chok Extenders

  • Versatile fit: Multiple lengths to handle different truck and bike setups

  • Rock-solid connection: Bolts directly to your Moto-Chok for reduced vibration

  • Easy in/out: Extender + Moto-Chok clip in and out together

  • Custom builds available: Need a different length? Just reach out

If you prefer a more modular setup that lets you clip the Moto-Chok on and off separately, check out our Z-TRAK Extender. But if you want a clean, bolted-together extended Moto-Chok setup with more length options, the Moto-Chok Extender is the perfect choice.

⚠️ Will not work with Bike Choks. Bike Choks use a special plate — please use the Z-TRAK Extender for Bike Choks.

Which Type of Moto-Chok Should I Buy?

The type of Moto-Chok you want to buy will depend on how you want to set up your system. Many of our customers prefer the mini choks when hauling in a truck bed with their Z-TRAK system because they are low profile and fit under a tonneau cover.

Some customers prefer the full-size choks because you get more wheel contact and the larger chok feels more secure to them for larger bikes. It's all about preference.

For a detailed explanation, check out our video below to help you decide which chok to buy.

What's the Difference Between the Moto-Chok and Mini Moto-Chok?

It's important to first note that you can use almost any size bike with any of our choks. The difference between the mini choks and regular chok is more about preference on how you want to set up your system and how you use it. The mini chok does work better for smaller bikes where the front fender may rub when using the full size chok, but both choks are stong enough to handle almost any size bike.

Can I Use Your Moto-Choks with E-Track?

Absolutely! Our patented Moto-Choks are designed to be compatible with Z-TRAK and regular e-track systems. If you have e-track in your trailer, you'll most likely be able to use our Moto-Choks. Many customers prefer to use the full size choks with our angled bracket or our angled mini moto-choks for use in trailers.

Why Would I Want an Angled Chok?

You have to think about how you like to mount your bikes and other gear and determine what mounting angle makes the most sense for you. But here are some of the reasons customers like using angled choks.

  1. If you’re mounting in the back of a truck, mounting on an angle leaves a little bit more room in your truck bed for other gear and sets the straps wider apart, potentially making them that much more solid. It also sets the handlebars as far apart as possible when hauling multiple bikes so you guarantee nothing will rub.
  2. Where the angled choks really shine is in trailers where often you will be mounting bikes on an angle. Having an angled chok allows you to keep your bikes straight in line with their handlebars while being angled in your trailer to fit as many bikes as possible.
  3. Now even though you can use our 22 degree adapter with any of our choks to add the angle. The big benefit of the angled mini chok over just using the adapter is having the angle built-in to the chok saves you precious inches. Saving those couple of inches may allow you to close your tail gate more easily when hauling in a truck or pack more bikes into a trailer. and you aren’t stuck with a right or a left angle either, you can still flip the chok upside down or right side up to mount at either a left or a right angle.
Are the Mini Moto-Choks Just for Smaller Bikes?

The short answer is not at all! Any of our choks can be used with almost any size dirt bike, e-bike, and even some motorcycles. They are built from strong 12-guage steel so you don't have to worry about if the chok is strong enough to hold your bigger bikes, even with the mini choks. The mini choks are however, usually better for hauling small bikes because with really small bikes the front fender can rub on the edges with the full size chok.

Can I Use this to Haul Motorcycles?

Our choks are certainly strong enough to help secure the front wheel on full size motorcycles. The key here would be to ensure your front wheel will fit in our choks. Because these are designed for dirt bikes and adventure bikes, the width is just over 4" wide. If your tire is wider than that, it may not fit in the chok.

It's important to note you must always use straps to secure your motorcycle or dirt bikes when hauling with our Moto-Choks. Using proper straps ensures undue pressure is not put on the Moto-Chok and ensures a safe transit.

Will these Work in a Trailer?

Absolutely! Our Choks are compatible with E-Track systems so if you have e-track in your trailer you can use our Moto-Choks.
