High Strength E-TRAK — When Cheap E-Track Isn’t Enough

Built for securing your most valuable gear — 3× stronger than standard E-Track.

Important: This is not our patented Z-TRAK truck bed system. Z-TRAK is custom-fitted to match the contours of your pickup truck bed, while our High Strength E-TRAK is designed for trailers, toolboxes, and other flat-wall installations where you want the familiar E-Track slot pattern — but with unmatched strength and durability. Some customers will use a Z-TRAK near the top of their bed and also add a High Strength E-TRAK rail down lower in the bed. This can be effective as well, but the E-TRAK will not work for the top part of your truck bed, which is the height where you need it for Moto-Choks and other accessories, that's where you need Z-TRAK.

Why We Made It

Most E-Track on the market is stamped from thin steel, has a shallow profile, and only a partial bend in the rail. It’s fine for hanging straps or securing light cargo — but when you’re tying down expensive power sports toys, you’re trusting thousands of dollars to a $20 strip of imported steel.

We built High Strength E-TRAK because our customers asked for something better:

  • Deeper Rail Profile — less opportunity for slots to get blocked by debris

  • Full 90° Bend — adds rigidity and reduces flex under heavy load.

  • Premium U.S. Steel — far stronger than imported mild steel.

  • Made in the USA — precision cut, formed, and finished here.

In independent load tests, our High Strength E-TRAK held 3× the weight of cheap imported E-Track before failure.

When to Choose High Strength E-TRAK

  • Securing UTVs, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, or motorcycles inside a trailer.

  • Heavy or high-value equipment where failure isn’t an option.

  • Areas that see frequent loading/unloading or rough road conditions.

When You Don’t Need It:
If you’re just hanging straps, organizing gear, or securing light items, standard E-Track is fine. Save the High Strength E-TRAK for the loads that really matter.

Yes — it costs more than the bargain-bin E-Track. But when the cargo you’re securing is worth thousands, the cost difference is pocket change for peace of mind.

Specifications:

  • Material: 12-Gauge U.S. steel

  • Rail Depth: 3/8-1/2" depth

  • Bend: Full 90°

  • Finish: High-Quality Powder Coating

  • Load Rating: Tested to 3× the strength of imported standard E-Track, exact load will depend on how it is mounted and what it is mounted to.

Protect your investment — choose High Strength E-TRAK

*Our High Strength E-TRAK is much more expensive when purchasing single rails due to the cost of shipping. We have built-in automatic discounts as you buy more rails so you will see better pricing as you buy more. We are happy to build you a custom quote for your trailer or whatever you may need.

We stock a variety of sizes for all kinds of applications, but note that we typically do not go over a 60" rail without significant volume as the costs to both build and ship go up considerably. We can build custom rails in almost any length upon request though.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the questions we hear the most.

If you have any questions not answered here, contact us and we'll be happy to help!

What makes High Strength E-TRAK different from cheap E-Track?

Most E-Track on the market is made overseas from thin stamped steel. Our High Strength E-TRAK is U.S.-made, cut from thicker steel, with a full 90° bend. Independent testing shows it’s 3X stronger than commodity E-Track — making it far safer when tying down heavy or valuable gear.

Can I Use E-TRAK Instead of Z-TRAK?

E-TRAK and Z-TRAK serve different purposes.

Z-TRAK is our patented, custom-fitted rail system designed specifically for truck beds. It’s deeper, shaped to fit the bed contours, and uses premium steel for maximum strength.

E-TRAK (even our High Strength E-TRAK) is best for flat-wall installations like trailer interiors, van walls, and toolboxes. It’s extremely strong, but it isn’t shaped for the curved walls and lips of a pickup truck bed.

If you’re outfitting a truck, choose Z-TRAK. If you’re outfitting a trailer, toolbox, or wall surface, High Strength E-TRAK is the right choice.

Can I Use Your Moto-Choks with E-Track?

Absolutely! Our patented Moto-Choks are designed to be compatible with Z-TRAK and regular e-track systems. If you have e-track in your trailer, you'll most likely be able to use our Moto-Choks. Many customers prefer to use the full size choks with our angled bracket or our angled mini moto-choks for use in trailers.

Is High Strength E-TRAK compatible with standard E-Track accessories?

Yes. We designed our rails to be fully compatible with all standard E-Track accessories. You can use hooks, straps, and fittings from any brand, while still benefiting from the added strength of our rails.

Where should I use High Strength E-TRAK?

High Strength E-TRAK is perfect for:

  • Trailer walls and floors
  • Enclosed cargo vans
  • Shop walls and storage systems
  • Tool Box mounting
  • Any flat surface where you want maximum tie-down strength
Do I need High Strength E-TRAK everywhere?

Not necessarily. For light loads like hanging straps, organizing gear, or securing small items, standard E-Track is fine. But for motorcycles, ATVs, heavy tools, and expensive equipment, we strongly recommend High Strength E-TRAK for the peace of mind that comes with triple the strength.

What Lengths are Available?

We stock standard lengths of 4", 6", 10", 18", 2 FT, 3 FT, 4 FT, 56", 5 FT. We can also make custom lengths upon request. Manufacturing time is usually 2-3 weeks on custom lengths and pricing will depend on quantities. For lengths over 5 FT, significant quantities are needed to justify the pricing.
