Yes—it’s doable, but a little different than a standard Z-TRAK™ install.
We don’t currently offer a custom-fit Z-TRAK for the Rivian R1T, mainly because Rivian hasn’t provided load rating data for their factory mounting points.
What customers are doing instead:
- Using our 48" High Strength E-TRAK rail
- Mounting it directly to the front of the bed (which is flat on the R1T)
- Installing with a Plus Nut Kit for a strong, secure hold in the composite bed
Recommended setup:
- Install anchors approximately every 6" along the top and bottom of the rail
- This creates a very solid mounting system—especially important in composite beds
What to keep in mind:
- You’ll need to choose your mounting height and drill for installation
- Since we don’t have official Rivian data, this isn’t a fully engineered “bolt-on” solution yet
- That said—we’ve already seen customers successfully run this setup
Bottom line:
It’s absolutely possible to run Z-TRAK accessories in a Rivian R1T—you just need a more custom install approach using our High Strength E-TRAK.
